If you go this route I can go ahead and schedule these classes to take place in #ubuntu-classroom which already has a mechanism for promoting (via identica/twitter and ubuntuclassroom feed on Ubuntu Planet) and indexing sessions, and has a lot of people lurking in the channels who participate. The Ubuntu Learning project is also worth mentioning and in a state of limbo. The intent is to develop coursework that loco teams and other groups can use for teaching user basics, sysadmin basics, dev basics and more. A half dozen or so sysadmin courses have already been written but basic Ubuntu sessions have not. There is also a moodle install at http://learn.ufbt.net/ which may be used. I can provide more information if there is interest, the only reason this project has stalled is because we lack volunteers. -- Elizabeth Krumbach // Lyz // pleia2 http://www.princessleia.com _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-advertising Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-advertising More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
