I'd like to be able to configure an LDAP server, bind DN and
credentials, and then be able to find a phone number or email address
from dialer and email apps as a result of a search that results in an
LDAP search. This would be useful for company directory integration.
Thunderbird is an example of a desktop app where LDAP is integrated
nicely like this.
