You have been subscribed to a public bug:
So i do this:
* Be in contact list
* Long press in one contact
* The selection checbkboxes appear along with the [x] to go out of the mode
* Press like crazy over the contact
* Eventually you'll end up in the contact preview
* Now press back
* Now you are in the list with checkboxes but the [x] to go out of the mode is
not there
