I can’t reproduce this issue any longer. Neither with installed deb
packages, nor with the app built from source, nor with a snap package.

Bug description:
This looks like a fairly recent regression (which might have happened
when switching to the TabsBar component provided by ubuntu-ui-extras).
On desktop, when resizing the window to its minimum width and opening
the tabs view, it can be clearly seen that there's a missing asset for
the tab. See attached screenshot.
