Well, some work is planned for click apps on the desktop to enable developers to more easily test their apps on the desktop form factor-- but keep in mind click on the desktop is not supported or recommended for general use because appstore apps do not undergo a security audit and application confinement for Ubuntu appstore apps does not (currently) cover limitations in X. I suggest you work with the Ubuntu community team to see what is planned for when and how you may be able to contribute there. > > On Mon, Nov 4, 2013 at 9:01 AM, Jamie Strandboge <ja...@canonical.com > <mailto:ja...@canonical.com>> wrote: > > On 11/04/2013 07:41 AM, Michael Spencer wrote: > > On 11/4/13, 6:15 AM, James Tait wrote: > >> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > >> Hash: SHA1 > >> > >> Hi all, > >> > >> During the course of developing, testing and supporting the various > >> components of the Click App Store, I've had cause on numerous > >> occasions to verify that a Click Package is downloadable.
