If there's only 3 sizes or so like this, then lets just put them all in the JSON and pass them all to the dash, and then the dash can pick which one to choose, based on what size it's rendering at. That would at least have the advantage of the scope not needing to know anything about the UI, and it's generic enough that other scope authors can do the same thing.
