I don't think Andrew's email was rude or offensive in any way. There's no reason to get defensive over this issue. If Jeff started a contest, take it up with him directly. I'm officially telling you as the art team coordinator that no such contest was started by the art team and have only heard about it second hand in old emails. All I've seen Andrew do is say that you're passionate about the artwork and encourage you to continue to develop the concepts further. Like most of us, Andrew has a full time job and he's also in charge of finishing the icon theme before Breezy's release. In general we don't have time to act as mediator - especially over an issue that isn't related to our project. If you can't get a resonse from Jeff, I suggest trying to track him down on IRC to get an answer from him. I hope that clears things up a bit. The art team has no involvement whatsoever in a "Breezy Badger Logo Contest". -- Aaron Ubuntu SVG Artwork - http://www.volvoguy.net/ubuntu ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Art, like morality, consists of drawing the line somewhere. ~ G.K.
