Hello,

For helping seeing the différence with FreeSans, i've made screenshots of gnome-terminal and nautilus using both fonts (default Sans and FreeSans).

screenshots availables at http://bersace03.free.fr/pub/captures/ dapper-artwork/fonts/ .

Some personnal comments :

- gnome-terminal is far more readable with Monospace. We should keep using it. - FreeSans seems more like OS X. I find it too anti aliased but very nice instead.

I try to play with antialiasing option, but nothing goes better.

I suggest to keep using Sans while FreeSans is so anti aliased. (This end up like OS X which give up anti aliasing tiny fonts for readability).

Étienne.
