While the colour usage is perfect, the aspect ratio isn't ... the
problem is that the 640x400 image is stretched to a 4:3 aspect ratio
when displayed on screen.
This means that your image appears "squashed".
I've attached a copy of the existing artwork so you can compare. If you
could rework yours to match this ratio, then it's a possible contender
for dapper.

I have been made aware of the changes for a pretty good amount of time,
if you haven't been paying attention to the Ubuntu-Art list, I did
attach fixed versions to a few of my posts after I was aware of the
problem. So, here are the new "next-gen" Usplash artworks for Ubuntu,
Kubuntu, and Edubuntu, in both regular and textless versions. Due to
circumstances beyond my control (I couldn't find a high-res version of
it), the Xubuntu artwork is only in Textless form. They correctly match
up with the new aspect ratios.
