A forum thread was also sane, but if you ask me, it's still a better
idea to have people vote via e-mail. It's easy, does not require one to
use yet another large system to get something this small done, and
ensures that we know who the voters are easily enough.

At this point, there's no reason to discuss trivial things with each
other such as how we should have voted or whether or not the art team is
organized enough. If anything has come to light these past few days is
that we would like to be organized, but still have to thoroughly discuss
our situation if we want to.

We need to set a date for a meeting
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ArtworkTeam/Meetings). It's unfortunate that
I'll be busy the weekend following the release, so I doubt I would
personally have any time then, but I'm sure you can manage with one guy
less. Otherwise, I'd be up for a meeting anytime after release. Maybe
even the same night. Which time zones are we in? I presume there's
diversity in that; which time would be most beneficial, given
everybody's time schedules?

Yes, I can see email would be much easier. Why didn't someone suggest that instead of continuing to suggest using what we knew to be broken? You can't get or be organized w/o communication.

trivial? If it was important enough to be chewed out for not doing something when we_did_in_fact_do_it, then it is important enough to set the record straight! It's offensive you think that to be trivial. I'm done on the subject. Everyone here knew the facts, but Mark has more than a full plate dealing with all aspects of a distro, so it was emphatic he understand. I can deal with anything except being falsely accused. It's also offensive you'd suggest no one should have said anything just because you think it is trivial.

Concerning a meeting, doesn't matter to me. Human is going to be Human, I don't like Tango or Tangerine, and because of my work schedule, I don't have time to do much of anything to my full potential. I'll sure try and pipe in though. I'd start another thread on that to discuss the whys and whats before worrying about a date.
