> Thanks, I knew about that, but why the change in address? I mean, I > knew it had been edited but did not notice the change in address, > because I just thought it was edited, as usual. What is unusual about > it that it needed another address? Because the structure of the wiki was horrible, and Dapper related items needed to be housecleaned. Any other pages that need resurrecting should be located in content to prevent cluttering up the main root page sub-pages listing. There are now a few simple paths, and hopefully things can be localized in each of their respective areas.
The wiki structure is still horrible up to the main root. There are few paths now?
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DapperDrake
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BreezyBadger
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HoaryHedgehog
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WartyWarthog
but then we jump to
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ArtworkTeam
???
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ArtworkTeam/Content
where we have
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ArtworkTeam/Content/DefaultUbuntu
This implies and always up to date status regardless of the release, so what happens with Edgy?
It should be
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DapperDrake
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DapperDrake/ArtTeam/
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DapperDrake/ArtTeam/Content
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DapperDrake/ArtTeam/Content/DefaultUbuntu
and so for each release. Anything otherwise is unorganized and no one can find or follow. It also eliminates past pages, and work or just continues this maddness of scattering everything all over the place.
