I agree with Billy that it is too bright, icons included.
I must also confess that I am not a fan of the Tango folder icon,

My constructive suggestions would be to tone it down a bit, and if you
are going to make tango-like icons then keep them closer to the icon
style guidelines (think about things like the colour of the outline
and the intensity of the highlight)

Well, you liked them when they were orange...:D
I already phased out those icons, now I'm making a fuller set with a
cyan version of the current Human icon set.
