Hi,
We are working for a distro. So I want to create a new theme and
make it
the default theme after installation of our distro.
Can any one tell me how this can be done.
If you have the theme, you need to put it into /usr/share/themes (or
at least, that's where they've been on all distros I've ever used...).
If not then you should probably start with a theme that you want to
edit and play around with it - for this you can just copy a directory
in /usr/share/themes to ~/.themes (to ease permissions when editing
it...) and edit the ~/.themes/[themename]/gtk-2.0/gtkrc file
A good list of tutorials is here:

Please tell me how how Ubuntu is doing this, I have seen that ubuntu
has
added a theme called Human into the themes list and it ia activated as
default theme once Ubuntu is installed.
How I can make my theme as default once we install Our OS..
I do not _know_ how to do this, but I do know it is possible to change
the theme that is being used using gconf - I am not on Linux now and
can't remember where the key is, but I would guess that that is one
possible way to set a theme during install...
HELP PLEASE
Thankyou

Based on changes that showed up in Sabayon ("User Profile Editor"), when
you change themes the following gconf keys change
/desktop/gnome/interface/icon_theme
/apps/metacity/general/theme
/desktop/gnome/interface/gtk_theme
There may be other changes, but I do not know for sure.
Hope this helps!
