I've been playing around a bit with both desktop ideas and the textlogo. I know we're in a basic-ideas-phase, but as usual I couldn't stop, so these are somewhat advanced.

First off is a little wallpaper thing I got together, with strange little soft spotthings (looks like bloodcells sort of) and a reflective ubuntu-logo just for show.

And without the logo. It has almost a painted feel. Wanted to keep it organic, a little strange and unique. The original blobs were generated by a filter which i've tweaked. It *is* a bit cluttered, i suppose, but I've found no good solution for that yet, and I'm quite convinced it's a habit thing when using the wallpaper. I have it on my desktop now and will see how it works.

Here's the textlogo. It's a somber look, not really shiny-gloss. If we want to opt for brighter colours, it could go bright like the previous logo, but it looks real strange with dark browns in those cases. Will try a brighter one later on.

Here's a little fractal wallpaper I've messed with. Not ubuntu-coloured yet, just a draft.

Same one sombered down and coloured. Really like this one.

Another one from the same base (believe it or not), very non-intrusive and clothy and just a tad more interesting than a single coloured background. :) Still, I can't help but like it.

That's it for me! Hope it might inspire someone. Let me know if you want PSD's for the wallpapers.
