Regarding the metallic/brown wallpapers, with the circle device - anyone have any ideas for another graphic element to use there, seeing as we don't want branded wallpapers?

Very classy work, Niklas! I particularly liked the metallic and brown wallpapers (with the large circle-of-friends device).
