It is indeed the same issue, thanks for the link. I have attached my
proposal over there as well.


For me this is very very good. However many people as well as author of
current set make a good point about all emblems to have some common
feature distinguishing emblems from other icons. I once proposed to keep
the orange circle behind them but keep it smaller to not encircle the
whole icon. Till now I've failed to create a mock-up but now I think
I''ll make something based on your set.


I don't think emblems need so strict common features to be distinguishable.
My personal guidelines with this icon set is :
- Emblems should be different of mimetype icons
- Emblems are smaller than other icons (32x32 pixels size for 100% zoom)
- Emblems should be human-ish (which means they are inspired by the Human,
Tangerine and Tango icon sets which are used for the Ubuntu desktop)

Feel free to use my icons for your project. I have included a package for
you with my current set -- they all are svg format and should be placed in
Human/scalable/emblems.
