I use it as if to say, "I use Ubuntu and I am proud!" As for the color scheme of the background; I dont think the blue works. Maybe try a deeper sunrise, or sunset. Also I think the stars are a bit much, but other than that I like your layout. It might make a cool load screen if the people revolved and you used that bar with Ubuntu in it as a load bar.
