Yes, that theme is great but delievers an inconsistent user interface because the title bar is used to move the windows, so they should be on a distinct shade/colour. Otherwise, I'm agree with some points you have exposed. The most important is the black/orange. I don't find that a dark theme mixed with orange could be the best choice for ubuntu artwork. And somebody said that a dark theme would not work with all apps, so... I think we should drop the dark theme idea. I want to say something more or less related with the discussion about dark theme. Have you ever seen the Ubuntu Studio artwork wiki page? I did a few days ago, and it seems that the have some really important things very clear. They have a pallete, guidelines, etc. But the Ubuntu default wiki page has something under Guidelines:* **"**Be aware that anything not following the official guidelines (coming soon) will not be eligible as a default."* I think that the problem is that "coming soon". The guidelines, in my opinion, are the firts thing that we have to create. Maybe I'm wrong and this brainstorming will deliever consistent guidelines, but I think that this is not what we're doing now, really? Cheers! -- Álvaro.
