I have also began with the drafts for the controls. It is definitely hard to decide what way is best for a combo to look like. And if we want them all to match somehow we have to decide on the proper form from the beginning. I almost cannot recognize that it's metacity. The thing that bothered me was the thin 1px highlight at the left side if the titlebar.
