No. That will only result in the most drab, watered-down, corporate
theme imaginable.

We aim at our target audience while coming up with something stylish.

Alienating people because of a theme should not be taken so heavily.
People who want boring can use Clearlooks. Which IMO is the GNOME
equivalent of WIn98. Drab and strait-forward.
