Hey Cory et al, I've got an objection to the trashcan that I was not sure I should post, since I don't really know how to treat works in progress.
At any size other than the full one, the little ball of trash looks really strange. I suggest moving it over to the right side, so its shape sticks out past the can's somewhat, in order to make more clear that it is not part of the trash can - a mark on it, or scum covering it, or whatever. That, or remove the little piece of trash altogether: the can is just as recognizable and is overall less distracting. Simple, usable icons are better than "cute" ones in my mind. Then again, I like the current Human icons better than all the ones y'all are currently working on; maybe that's indicative of a bias that should discredit my input in the first place.
