Hello, Newb here who hopes to contribute artwork in the future, some possible small suggestions currently :)
If I may offer my opinion on the System Software Install icon, the CD looks like it's a bit out of perspective, i.e. not in a vanishing point perspective..? Can you apply the same transformation as for the box? Speaking of which, did you use the box tool in inkscape to create the box? As for the "start here" icon, I'm not certain giving it a golden ring around it with beveling really gives it a matching theme to the other icons? It feels like the golden ring is overtaking the ubuntu logo in presence. I think maybe if it was similarly shaded to the rest of the breathe icons, particularly the system-software-update icon, it would look better. For future reference, is there a webpage somewhere with a list of what icons are currently needed? (I would like to try my hand at building some :) Thanks, Chris On Mon, Mar 16, 2009 at 4:32 AM, Oliver Scholtz 1 <[email protected]>wrote: > Hello everybody :) > > So I finished "system-software-install" I want to know how are the > opinions about the third upload form my "new idea" for the > start-here-Icon. > Changes?
