Thanks a lot for the information! Since the shapes where so regular, I assumed a hand-made design and not a font. I've installed it from the Ubuntu package. > For the first question,,, I do not think these were made in > illustrator at at all $ head UbuntuCoF.svg <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?> <!-- Generator: Adobe Illustrator 11 Build 196, SVG Export Plug-In . Oh, yes, I know, and that's not the problem. I tried to get the metrics of the Circle of Friends from the SVG, and my first try was opening the SVG with Vim and check the XML. Since all objects are paths instead of circles and the SVG exporter in Adobe Illustrator makes heavy use of "transform" in the objects, it was nearly impossible. Moreover, it adds a copy of the PGF version at the end of the file, adding more than 300kB of binary data. > Unless you are getting another version from somewhere > that I am not aware of these were made in Inkscape. Where should I get the Inkscape versions? The only place I've found logos are on the URL I've posted above, but I'm eager to get Inkscape versions :) Again, Coz, thanks a lot for your reply :) -- Raúl "DervishD" Núñez de Arenas Coronado Linux Registered User 88736 | http://www.dervishd.net It's my PC and I'll cry if I want to...
