Hi , There has been a change of plan for those empathy icons. Upstream wants to make the icon seem more "click-able". Doing it in Monochrome will not fix the problem there... However , anyone interested in contributing to Humanity could have a look at > https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Artwork/HumanityIcons https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Artwork/HumanityIcons/Guidelines https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Artwork/HumanityIcons/Contributing The wiki is a bit rough and needs some clean up . The members who were asking about contributing [Sebastien and Oliver] had already started contributing, hence, i slacked a bit on the wiki and announcements ... :( For the monochrome panel icons we are planning to include the app icons in the theme with the *-symbolic labels. This ensures that the icon used in the panel alone would be monochrome and isnt used elsewhere in the system. [of course apps need to be fixed as well :) ] lp:humanity already has several changes post karmic and a few new monochrome icons. There are a large number of monochrome icons on gnome-look. We would like to include some of them in the humanity-icon-theme. If the authors of those icons would like them included in the humanity theme , do submit it. Thanks. :) -- Cheers, Vish [mac_v] -- ubuntu-art mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-art
