All, Some time back a discussion occurred about the correct demension for wallpaper submission and the number 2650x1920 was offered as a good middle ground. I am finding a single demension inadequate for wall papers with images which depend upon the aspect ratio to display correctly (i.e. circles & many more).
It occurred to me we should be developing for and supporting multiple aspect ratios. 1. 8:5 / 16:10 2. 5:4 3. 53:32 4. 5:3 5. 4:3 6. 16:9 7. 128:75 More info here <http://www.projblog.com/?page_id=865>. The above seven ratios support the bulk of the displays in use and would ganuratee the best possible presentation from netbook to large screen desktop. What would be left out is some very large screen and dual screen systems. Does this make sense and can Ubuntu support it? John
