Hrafn, First of all I love the "Color Palette Generator" site. Thanks for sharing that as I was using "Color Hunter". The attempt of the first palette is to simply box in the colors used by the GTK theme or colors of the community ( viz. Orange = Ubuntu ). The inspirational image is to provide a greater breathe to the palette. I am transparent to the "light" Ubuntu design concept. :-) If it doesn't make sense to the Edubuntu community then let's drop it. I would suggest the same argument can be made with "Natty".
