Ivanka, Thank you for your comments. I really like what PiTiVi has accomplished to date but improvements lag behind other products such as OpenShot and Kdenlive. IMO Ubuntu needs a robust video editor targeted to "not professionally trained" individuals. I like the idea of an OpenShot screen cast and I will see if I can squeeze it in. :-) A source of sounds I have used in the past is http://www.freesound.org/ FreeSound Org .
