Hi Dave, Of course we all recommend you make the transition to GNU/Linux to get the full advantage of free and open source software. But OOo is a big step in the right direction, I wish you all the best.
Regarding installation of windows fonts, START>Control panel double left click on "Fonts" drag your *.ttf into this folder. OOo looks in this folder for all it's fonts. Hope that helps, James Collier --- /******************************** *INTERESTING FACT: * * Windows degrades the quality * * of high definition video on * * purpose at the request of the * * entertainment industry. * * Value your freedom? * * Visit fsf.org & badvista.org * ********************************/ My System: Ubuntu 8.04 GNU/Linux 2.6.24-17-generic x86_64 My website: https://launchpad.net/~james-collier412 www.morerowdy.blogspot.com Started: Wed May 21 18:01:58 EST 2008 -- ubuntu-au mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-au
