Sounds like a credentials error. What's the printer device URI you're connecting to? It generally needs to be in the format: smb://DOMAIN/USER:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/printer (Where "DOMAIN" is only really necessary in a true Windows/Samba domain). The user/pass combo needs to be the same on Windows, Linux/Samba and Linux/Passwd/Shadow.
