I personally bought my Dell Latitude D830 with the Windows Vista license and install Linux. Then i can legally run XP or Vista in a VMware VM. I know it's not the "right thing" in terms of sending the right message to Dell and MS, but the fact is that i need both Linux and Windows to support my clients. Paul
