Hardy and Skype 2.0.0.72 are working together very well here. Audio is set to default sound device and works very well. Video quality depends on the webcam and works well too.
If audio is not working well, it could possibly be due to a conflict of audio processor. Do you have a soundcard installed? If so, you need to disable your soundchip on your motherboard - easily done in the BIOS. Else, I would check equipment and ensure correct connections. Andre
