Thanks for the warning Daniel,

I get photo's from friends.  Sometimes a dozen at a time.  Opening them
one by one is tedious . . . 

I've just worked it out!  If I "save all" to a folder called, say,
"emailed photos".  The open it with "image viewer".  Just tried it - it
works.

Maybe you have a better method??
