Hi all,

I am trying to install 8.04-2 on my server at home and I have run into some
problems in burning/reading the disk.

I downloaded the iso from the UWA mirror and checked the Md5 sum which was
correct. I then burnt it to a cd at a slow speed (4x).

Upon inserting the disk into my machine and preforming the install, the
install crashes and reports a corrupt file. After doing a check for defects
it appears that there is one package that is corrupted.

I have since done the following:

I have burnt the Iso on 3 separate machines (one windows, one mac and one
linux),
Tried the same iso from a different mirror (iinet) (note both had the same
md5sum on the mirrors and my machine/s)
Used 2 different CD burners in the same machine,
Used 2 different cd readers in the machine that the software is to be
install onto,
Use 3 different Brands/types of cd, and,
Burned at speed ranging from 1x up to 8x.

Everytime the MD5sum on the iso is correct, and every time the same file is
corrupt.
The exact filename escapes me but it is something like foomatic.2.1.5.deb.
(I will check this when I get home)

I am no newbie when it comes to ubuntu/debian but this has me beat, does
anyone have any idea what is wrong?

Thanks,
Chris.
