I am looking for an OCR program for Ubuntu. My need is for one that OCRs black and white (or gray) images, typically simple typed pages; for example a page from a magazine. I do this only occasionally, as I find the OCR process tedious. Several are mentioned in Synaptic Package Manager. Which one would suit me, do you think? Geoffrey
