And now I am absolutely confused and in the state of wonder..... When I went broadband (from dial-up) I bought a Netgear modem/router with 4 ethernet ports. I was with TPG at the time and went from dial-up to broadband. Then I went from ADSL to ADSL2+, still with TPG, and was supplied with a Zyxel ADSL2+ modem/router with 4 ethernet ports and VoIP and wi-fi. 2 years ago I switched over to iinet, using this Zyxel modem/router. Yesterday I bought the Netcomm which is described in the documentation as "ADSL2+ VoIP Modem Router" - with 4 ethernet ports (of which I am only using 2 at the moment), and I still have the wireless feature, but I have it switched off as I have no need for it. So, unconfuse me re what you stated above. As I said before, nothing changed over the past, say, 2 years except for replacing the modem with the Netcomm.
