Hi James... I have a HP c4480, I believe this is the model above from the one you have (or its replacement) I have no issues using any of the functions. Can you try 2 things... 1. open your web browser and type in 'localhost:631' this is the CUPS interface and see if your printer is listed there and that its on line etc... 2. if their are multiple entries for the printer remove them all and then plug it in again to see if that may remedy the situation. HP printers are generally hassle free under Linux ;-) Although I'm on Debian these days I had both my HP printers running without issue under Ubuntu. -- Scott Evans <[email protected]>
