I bought one of these pieces of hardware through the services of the designer, PJ Radcliffe, Snr Lecturer RMIT. The binary file "ousb" is said to be executable with Linux as well a MS. I have both but prefer to use Ubuntu which is currently 10.04LTS. To execute file I followed one of the methods: Place the executable file called ousb (no extension) in the desktop. Go to the terminal (which has desktop as its default directory) and type ./ousb. Three things: 1. This fails because the terminal can't find the directory/file. 2. My knowledge of the terminal commands is small, but I am doubtful if this is the way to execute the program. 3. I don't know what to expect from the command! The ultimate aim is to connect with the USB module via terminal commands.
