Hello there, It seems its rather complicated to install the Intel Fortran compiler under Ubuntu/Linux, although if you jump on IRC (Internet Relay Chat) and connect to irc.freenode.net and the channel #ubuntu-au, i can help you out in real time, which may be easier for you.
Some instructions are here, although you may not understand much of that since you have no Linux experience: http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/using-intel-compilers-for-linux-with-ubuntu/ <http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/using-intel-compilers-for-linux-with-ubuntu/>and you can chat to me and others from the LoCo team by reading the information here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/AustralianTeam/IRC Hope this helps Ryan Macnish (nisshh on irc) On Wed, Dec 22, 2010 at 7:44 PM, thisara welhena <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi , > I am new to the Ubuntu .
