Good morning/afternoon/evening Ubuntu-AU'ers

As discussed earlier we have a Global Jam [1] coming up which we as
the Australian Loco is going to be involved in. There has been some
discussion on a Bug Jam from a few on the team so hopefully this will
go ahead as well but I will also be holding a Translation Jam [2]. So
I have set aside the afternoon of Saturday the 2nd of April between
1300 and 1600 (Brisbane time, I believe Daylight Savings Time ends on
this weekend at some stage though?) to hold this event.

To get a head start on this I have created a wiki page [3] that
provides all the information required to get started so you can all
get set up before the day. The format I am hoping to achieve is to
have everyone mingle in the team IRC channel so we can co-ordinate our
translation efforts together. I will also make sure I am available on
the IRC channel for this period for anyone to drop by and ask
questions about getting set up for translation or any other question
on the topic of translation.

I have set up the event on the loco.ubuntu.com website at
http://loco.ubuntu.com/events/team/817/detail/ - please note your
attendance there if possible. I look forward to seeing as many of you
there as possible.
