I've begun to realise there is a bit of a horse and cart problem here. No one wants to fund us until they see it all planned out, but it appears people aren't really willing to start planning if they aren't sure it's going to happen. A suggestion brought up on IRC the other night by James (bejames) was to hold it at just a normal Brisbane City Council library instead of at The Edge. According to their website [0] it would appear they offer conference rooms for free for community groups. There are downsides to this as well as positives so I wanted to run the idea past the team before committing one way or another. Anyone have any thoughts one way or the other?
