Well, how about that. I've finally found a reason to use Empathy :) All this time I thought it was just the Pidgin alternative. Never gave it a thought that it supported SIP.
Anyway, installed the plugin from Synaptics, added the account details, and 5 minutes later I'm back on the phone making calls. All too good! Many thanks for that, Dave.
