I haven't used any wireless printers, but i recommend checking out the OpenPrinting database:
http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/openprinting/database/databaseintroIn general, HP seem to be pretty good with providing info to Linux developers, but there are some exceptions.
