That would break breezy since libcairo1-dev is obsolete and not in Breezy any more. > (2) patch -p1 -R < debian/ubuntu-patches/firefox-nopangoxft.patch: this > needs to be unmerged (part of cairo addons from Breezy) I'm not sure what it does, but it is certainly there for a reason, so we shouldn't just throw it away. > (3) > The following from grep... gcc-4.0 needs to be changed to gcc and so on. > > ./security/coreconf/Linux.mk:CC = gcc-4.0 > ./security/coreconf/Linux.mk:DEFAULT_COMPILER = gcc-4.0 > ./security/coreconf/Linux.mk:CCC = g++-4.0 That's certainly easy. However, it seems that we can't apply all three changes, and since Breezy is released, it is too late anyway. Also, it seems obsolete to me anyway. Do you still want to do Hoary backports, now that Breezy is released? Martin -- Martin Pitt http://www.piware.de Ubuntu Developer http://www.ubuntulinux.org Debian Developer http://www.debian.org
