Googling seems to have provided me with a solution which is not the best
but works. I'm not sure what changes will be needed or maybe its just me
if that is the case well it shouldn't affect anyone else.

http://lists.debian.org/debian-java/2003/08/msg00185.html

I followed that to install the sun's java.

http://galeon.sourceforge.net/Main/JavaPlugin

That sort of helps. It does IMO depend on java however in the
dependancies its not listed there.

Depends: ${misc:Depends}, ${shlibs:Depends}, firefox, procps, galeon-common

Thats from galeon with galeon only having ${misc:Depends}

However a positive is that it now works really well.

Regards,

Marc
