<quote>Stiking with the correct way, means that by the time the fix is released we will just have many people leaving hardy or running on custom kernels that do not receive security fixes at all that is just bad.</quote>
For me, its now too late. It's been 6 months and I cant see anything happening. After several years of running ubuntu, I guess this is the end - I just cant accept having to run an OS that is even more flaky than Windows (actually, 10 freezes a day is worse than having to live with Windows). Time to switch distro as I need a workstation that actually works - will give fedora a shot. .. I find it rather telling that no one even bothered to give you a reply, Sergio. -- Please backport kernel 2.6.25 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/233859 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backports Testing Team, which is subscribed to Hardy Backports. -- ubuntu-backports mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
