I've take a look at this backport, but it requires some work.
First of all I'd have to remove comments present in debian\control, because
pbuilder present on Hardy seems not to understand comments starting whit "#".
There are also some unmet dependencies:
libflexdock-java,libjogl-java,libjrosetta-java,libjeuclid-core-java,libbatik-java,
fop,libxml-commons-external-java,libmatio-dev; these packages were introduced
in Intrepid, so backporting them shouldn't cause any problem, because there
aren't reverse depends.
