The package, as is, already builds and installs cleanly, in my brief testing, on Ubuntu. I have found this guide: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Debian/ForUbuntuDevelopers about converting from Ubuntu -> Debian. Any hints on going vice versa much appreciated, especially as to the technical details of getting the package into Ubuntu.
