Lot of works have been done since 1.1 version, and Debian Experimental has the
latest 1.2 available. Please sync it for Precise.

You can test-build the backport in your PPA with backportpackage:
$ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s quantal -d precise

Alternatively, you can try the backport in my PPA (ppa:micahg/ppa)
