You have been subscribed to a public bug: Please backport ruby-facets 2.9.2-1 (universe) from quantal to precise.
Reason for the backport: ======================== apparently the facets gem is not available in Precise anymore as a deb-package, it was available for Lucid, Natty and Oneiric under the name libfacets-ruby and has been replaced by ruby-facets in Quantal: http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?searchon=sourcenames&keywords=facets But none of the two is available on Precise, and since Precise is an LTS this is a pitty. Apparently libfacets-ruby has been deleted for Precise on purpose but apparently without providing ruby-facets as a replacement: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/precise/+source/libfacets- ruby/2.7.0-3 Would it be possible to revive the old libfacets-ruby package for Precise or backport ruby-facets from Quantal? Testing: ======== Mark off items in the checklist [X] as you test them, but please leave the chec$ You can test-build the backport in your PPA with backportpackage: $ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s quantal -d precise ruby-fa$ * precise: [ ] Package builds without modification [ ] libfacets-ruby1.9.1 installs cleanly and runs [ ] libfacets-ruby-doc installs cleanly and runs [ ] ruby-facets installs cleanly and runs [ ] ruby-facets-doc installs cleanly and runs [ ] libfacets-ruby1.8 installs cleanly and runs [ ] libfacets-ruby installs cleanly and runs No reverse dependencies ** Affects: precise-backports Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Please backport ruby-facets 2.9.2-1 (universe) from quantal https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1056203 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is subscribed to Precise Backports. -- ubuntu-backports mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
