Right, but there is no previous backports version of yelp-tools.
You will _not_ get any packages from backports by simply apt-get 
(dist-)upgrading a vanilla trusty installation.

Maybe you had a locally installed yelp-tools package with version > release and 
< backports?
Or you changed the apt pinning.
